In the construction lending and development world, a project can look flawless on paper. The budgets balance, timelines are set, and documentation appears complete.
Construction projects can look solid on paper while significant risks develop beneath the surface. A draw may be approved before the work is complete, a budget may no longer reflect the true cost to finish, or the documentation may not match conditions at the job site. When these issues go unnoticed, costs can rise, and available options can become more limited.
At La Mesa Fund Control & Escrow, we help banks, credit unions, private lenders, sureties, finance companies, and other construction stakeholders maintain stronger control throughout the construction process. Our services include fund control, site and draw inspections, pre-construction reviews, contractor reviews, and related construction due diligence.
